Gamefreak favourites: Heavy Rain chapter 39 "Sexy girl"
Hey guys, another day, another gamefreak favourites and another from Heavy Rain, this time it's "sexy girl", in which our heroine, Madison, has to pop along to a club to attempt to glean some crucial information from the owner, using her womanly charms to hopefully accomplish the task.
I really like this chapter from the game. It shows Madison in quite an empowering role, although i'm sure the feminists out there will completely hate me for that suggestion. "Getting her kit off isn't empowering" they will shriek.....but wrapping a table lamp around the guys head is, so there....ner ner.
Enjoy my friends.

Gamefreak favourites: Heavy Rain chapter 17: The Bear
A very good Monday to you all folks, I hope you have all had a spankingly good weekend. To get us started this week is another Gamefreak favourites video, this time it's the PS3 exclusive adventure-come-point-and-click-come-QTE fest that is Heavy Rain, the David Cage sometimes flawed masterpiece. I'm looking at chapter 17, called "The Bear", which sees our hero having to take on a suicidal task where he has five minutes to drive five miles down the wrong way of a motorway.
See as our hero Ethan travels at death defying speeds, watch in horror as cars dodge out of his way, recoil in fear as even the Police get smashed up, and stare in amazement as we see motorway workers actually doing some work!
I liked Heavy Rain. I was enthralled all the way through, and it was only afterwards that I realised that some of the parts were actually slightly flawed, but hey, that's another post entirely. I'll be putting up another chapter or two, so if you enjoyed this one tune in again this week, or indeed just pop to Youtube and subscribe to get notified straight away!
Here's looking to another great gaming week on thoughts of a gaming freak!

Jurassic Park: The Game Gameplay Demo (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
Telltale Game's Jurassic Park game is on the way, and it's looking pretty awesome....if in a kinda "seen it before way".
Taking obvious inspiration from Heavy Rain, specifically in the way you interact with the environment, it's looking pretty cool. For a dinosaur nut like me, who can sit for hours watching documentaries about how T-Rex took a shit, mixing dinos in with Heavy Rain is a match made in heaven......a slightly toothy kill-you-in-one-bite heaven, but heaven all the same.
The video above shows 13 minutes of footage taken from a recent build, and of course, if you're looking forward to playing the game and having it all as a new experience don't watch the video. I have no will power, so I watched it and love what i'm seeing so far.
Jurassic Park will be available on PC/Mac in April 2011. Console releases are in the fall 2011.

Mega64 take on.....Heavy Rain!
This....is....brilliant!The team over at Mega64 have done it again, this time, shining their amazing skills of parody at the mostly hit, sometimes miss PS3 exclusive "Heavy Rain".
I'm sure you would have come across the Mega64 team at some point if you have an interest in games. The team do some fantastic Jackass-style skits, but based around video games.
Pop over to their site right here, so you can view their archive. But right here though i'm posting their latest class act.
If you have played Heavy Rain, you'll be amazed at just how well they nail it. The funniest parts, when you have to press slooooooooooooooowly on the analogue stick so get out of a chair etc are so well observed i'm sure it'll spoil it when I play the game again.
So without further ado, I give you Mega64 and Heavy Rain!
Brilliant!
