Lord of the Rings: War in the North preview

I don't know how this game has passed me by, but if this short trailer is anything to go by i'll certainly be keeping my eyes peeled. LOTR: WITN (that's a mouthful) is a co-op game based in Middle Earth, with you and some buds teaming up as an Elf, a Dwarf and a human, battling it out against all things evil.

Some of the LOTR games have been hit and miss, with my probable favourite being LOTR: The third age, which I loved. I'm going to keep my Sauron's eye on this one....as any game featuring giant eagles taking on trolls is well worth a look.

LOTR: War in the North is scheduled for release in North America in August this year. Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions confirmed.

My Rock band dreams have come true.....

Holy shit on 8-foot high stilts.....I actually, seriously cannot contain myself. I feel like screwing everyone sensless, cleaning their house and cooking their mum a lovely cake.

It's still not 100% confirmed, and knowing my luck i'll have an horrific incident where i need my fingers amputated, but awesome Harmonix-loving website Rockbandaid.com have managed to get their hands on a lovely image that shows an early preview of next weeks Rock Band DLC if it's to be believed.
