Thank fuck for that......After over a week of pointless "rumours" about the Wii 2, Nintendo has finally announced that the console IS indeed happening.
Will it be HD? What will Zelda look like? Does it have a screen in the controller? Will it butter my toast? How powerful is it? How powerful isn't it? How much RAM? How much will it cost? All kinds of questions have been flying around the interweb, all with about as much point as a blunt pencil. I'm all one for basically thinking what the console will be like, but the amount of speculation that's been doing the rounds about the "Wii HD" as it's been dubbed has been stupid.
Anyway, as reported by AFP this morning, it's happening.
It'll be shown off to a huge fanfare at E3 this year, so in a little over a month, and it's due for release in 2012.
That's all you need to know.
So can we at least wait until we see the thing at E3 until we start fruitlessly masturbating over the fucking thing?
(Trust me, if there is a super HD version of Starfox, i'll be the first to pull my boxers down and start tugging...i'll.....AAARRRGGGHHHH.......I'M SPECULATING!!!!)
